Sunlit Moments: A Shoot with Carla
In 2012, Carla and I embarked on our first photographic journey together. Over the past decade, our lives and our approach to photography have evolved. Our latest shoot, set in Carla's home on a rare sunny day in Belgium, captures this evolution.
The shoot was relaxed and spontaneous, highlighting the mutual trust and understanding we've built over the years. Without a fixed script, we allowed the natural flow of the day to guide us, resulting in authentic and genuine moments.
For this series, I focused on capturing the essence of the moment with minimal post-processing, primarily making color adjustments. The images were shot on a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 50mm 1.4 lens, emphasizing the straightforward, natural beauty of the scenes.
